Avril was brought up in Nakuru, the previous capital of the Rift Valley Province. She was exceptionally dynamic in dramatization and music celebrations whilst in secondary school. In March 2014, Avril was offered on the tune of Boomba Boyz’s 2014 single “Piga Kengele”. In July 2014, Avril performed at the Tusker Meru 7 after gathering.
