BREAKING: Nyakach MP Is Dead

There are many causes of death, ranging from Sickness, accidents, age factor, sudden death cases and many more. News reaching our report desk indicate that Former Nyakach MP Dennis Akumu has kicked the bucket after a short ailment at a Nairobi Hospital.

The former administrator kicked the bucket on Wednesday night at the Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi.
He served as a MP for two terms, between 1969 to 1973 and later 1992 to 1997.


He served his first term as a Kanu MP, during an era when the nation was under a one council and  one party rule regime. He later competed effectively under the Ford Kenya party ticket.

Mr Akumu additionally served as a Central Organization of Trade Unions (Cotu) secretary general and later was chosen secretary of the African Trade Unions.

His dowager, Beauty Akumu, lauded him as an incredible man saying it was an awesome misfortune to the family and the general population of Nyakach.
