DNA joins Grandpa in grand Tanzania concert
Barely a year after he left Grandpa Records after his contract ended, celebrated singer DNA joined six other artistes from the stable over the weekend in Mwanza, Tanzania, to steal the thunder, before a crowd estimated at 3000.
The Maswali ya Polisi left showbiz critics with more questions than answers as it became evident that the Refigah led Grandpa stable is rooting itself as the recording and artistes promotion stable to watch.
It is not clear whether the split between DNA and Refigah was out of rumoured financial differences but for a fact, these two have a joint working formular contrary to their alleged bad blood.
The group, otherwise known as the Grandpa ‘Government’ was flown to Mwanza where they were received by hundreds of fans led by a group of acrobats before thrilling thousands on Saturday night till late into Sunday. Among those who wooed the crowd during the massive Fimbo ya Tatu concert was Renee, Sosuun, Kenrazy, Visita and of course DNA.
