Property of obscure quality was on Friday diminished to slag after a fire gutted down a residence that housed more than 80 students at Isebania Boys Secondary school in Kuria West Sub County Migori County. Migori County Director for Environment and Debacle/ Disaster Management Mr. John Mwita said the flame began when the understudies were in class. It expended the entire residence and students’ property; no setback was accounted for.
Mwita said the reason for the flame is yet to be built up, however preparatory examinations recommend that a fire playing criminal was included.
He said the school associates that one with the understudies, who were suspended over disciplinary cases, took part in the flame, however they are yet to confirm the assertions.
Mwita said the Instruction Service has as of now dispatched 81 sleeping pads, covers and mosquito nets to the influenced understudies so that they can proceed with their learning as different issues are sorted out in not so distant future.
