A suspect distinguished as Omar Eurmod had been captured at Nakuiit on suspicion of being a terrorist.

The morning occurrence happened after the man, who had been captured by the police, grabbed a weapon from one of the officers at 4:30am and began shooting unpredictably at the police.

The man is blamed for enrolling youngsters from the district to the state army group. Weapon shots were gotten notification from the police headquarters as late as 8am even as more than 100 cops were conveyed to strengthen security.

Somewhere else, one suspected Al Shabaab warrior has been executed and a few others harmed in a messed up strike of Mangai AP camp in Lamu Area.

Affirming the episode, AP Commandant Abdullahi Adan, said an AK-47 rifle and three magazines were recouped amid the swoop.

This comes scarcely two weeks after officers at the Mangai camp in Lamu East spurned an endeavored Al Shabaab assault.
