Kenyan Athlete Dies Just After The Rio Olympics

The late Isaiah Kiplagat

The Rio Olympics 2016 which were hosted in Brazil South America, came to an end on 21st August 2016.

Conceived and raised in the Nandi area of Rift valley, Kiplagat was initial a jail officer before heading off to the UK to study and after that later joining the Sports Kenya affiliation where he was designated the bad habit director.

He later worked as the overseeing chief of Posta Bank before he was re-chosen into the IAAF’S chamber.

His career in athletics in brief:
1975– Vice-Chairman, Kenya Amateur Athletics Association (Athletics Kenya).
1976-1986–-Secretary General, AK.
1987-1989–-Vice-Chairman, AK.
1976-1987– Member, IAAF Technical Committee.
1977-1996– Secretary/Treasurer, East Africa Athletic Board.
1992-to 2015 Chairman,AK.
