Keriako Tobiko probes the NYS Saga
Keriako Tobiko, Kenya’s Director of
Public Prosecutions, today asked the
chief of the Directorate of Criminal
Investigations, Mr Ndegwa Muhoro, to hand to him the files and researched
findings on the hacking of the government finance system.
So far, many questions have been asked
about financial transactions at the Ministry of Devolution, with the CBK asking of the
payment of kshs.10 million of shillings.
In support of her ministry, CS Anne Waiguru said there were detections about a try to hack into the computers and
authorise illegal release of nearly Sh700 million. She added that she had asked CID Chair Mr. Muhoro to investigate the matter.
Ms Anne is currently in Colombia to receive an excellence award on behalf of the government for service in the public sector.
