A Mombasa-bound petrol tanker and a clinker tipper on Sunday 24th April 2016 crashed close Salama Town, Makueni Region along Mombasa Street, leaving the two drivers dead instantly.
The petrol tanker bursted into blazes executing the driver on the spot, while that of the clinker tipper passed on in doctor’s facility while experiencing treatment.
In the midst of the crash between the two trucks, a third vehicle was hit with its driver managing genuine wounds and was raced to Machakos Healing facility.
Salama Police headquarters Movement Officer Joseph Nyasili, affirmed the episode saying that the fuel transporter was driving on the wrong path when the mischance occurred. The Movement manager noticed that the tanker driver smoldered past acknowledgment.
This comes a month after another fuel tanker blasted along the Mai Mahiu-Narok interstate after a mischance that included five different vehicles.
One individual was affirmed dead and a few others were genuinely harmed and were hurried to the Naivasha Locale Clinic for treatment.
