Lightning Strikes 50 Students In Uganda
Fifty understudies of Nawagala Secondary School, Uganda, in Nawaningi Sub-region, Iganga District were on Thursday struck by lightning.
The dean, Mr Esinel Bazibu had this to say; “As understudies looked for asylum in classrooms and on the verandah, lightning struck. We saw understudies lying oblivious and that is the point at which we found they had been struck, He said the influenced understudies had taken sanctuary in Senior One Block where the school sun oriented board had been introduced.
“Our sun powered board was additionally blazed,” Mr Bazibu said. He said greater part of the casualties, who are from Senior One and Two, are young ladies. The influenced understudies were hurried to an adjacent clinic in discriminating condition where they are recuperating relentlessly.
