Six individuals have kicked the bucket after a hospital wall gave way on their home in Kizingo, Mombasa County on Monday as substantial rains beat the district.
The six, among them four kids and their mom, were caught in the garbage for quite a long time before their bodies were recovered by police officers, Kenya Red Cross Society authorities and the county region inspectorate group.
The 6th casualty was a cassava vendor at an adjacent booth.
Mombasa Urban police station boss Lucas Ogara said the edge mass wall of Pandya Memorial Hospital collapsed on the residential house close Mbaraki Primary School because of the substantial downpours that has been pounding the region.
May their souls rest in eternal Peace.
