Police Recover The Stolen Kenyan Olympics Team Kits in Nairobi That Went Missing In Brazil Rio Olympics

The Secretary general of National Olympics Kenyan Team Mr Francis Paul was arrested on Friday evening and locked up at Muthaiga Police Station awaiting trial charges.

This follows after the Kenya Olympics team jerseys went missing in Brazil during the 2016 Rio Olympics, that really ashamed Kenyans with such kind of behaviour.

The DCI officers raided NOCK officers at the 2000 Plaza, Mombasa Road where they recovered hundreds of cartons containing Team Kenya uniforms for Rio Olympic Games.

“The consignment is big and we surely don’t know why these uniforms were not given to the team,” said the source, adding that police were due to make more arrests at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where NOCK officials were expected from Rio, Brazil.
