REVEALED: How Kenyan Campus Students Hack Their Students Portal And Edit Their Grades

In one of the social media timeline, one of the Kenyan university student posted this and this has gone viral online. Have a look of what he wrote:-
For three semesters, my 2nd year semester and in both my third year semesters, I didn’t pay much attention in my school work and this is because I started some hustles so as to sustain my financial needs in campus life. This made me get a low or a really bad GPA. That sucks right? So here is what i
did to change the grades and get everything well.
After you enter your username and password, you are able to see your grades.
Now select the grade you want to change and right click on it. For example i wanted to change my Calculus 2, EET, Development Studies, CCT, Entrepreneurship and my Project grades because they were lowly graded. So i
selected the grades and right clicked.
A menu opens up. Then click on “Inspect Element”. A box at the bottom like in the above image opens up. This is a part
of inbuilt Mozilla Firefox Web developer pack. (However, some browser’s don’t have the toolkit inbuilt in them so you may have to download it or use a different browser.)
Now click on the downward arrow to open up the grade or marks whatever the f++k you are changing. After the grade appears double click on it and now you can edit your grade to anything.
After editing click on the screen somewhere to show the result on the actual screen. I choose an A and similarly changed my marks to 80.
Then after changing my grades according to my needs i took my laptop with this screen open to show my mom my marks. Their done!
Hopefully I’ll study hard next time. Your entrance might be somewhat not quite the same as mine.

NB: We as BBC Africa would advise students to study well, attend lectures, revise well and believe me at the end of the day, you’ll pass with flying colours. Good luck to you all.

Keep in mind “You can have anything you need in life, you should be willing to overcome the challenge.”
