Two individuals passed on and five others were genuinely harmed in a street mishap including a lorry and a transport at Nakuru Instructors Preparing School close Salgaa on Wednesday morning.
Affirming the occurrence, Rift valley traffic Commandant Joseph Muthee said the early morning mishap happened after the driver of the transport heading towards Kisumu from Nakuru lost control and hit a stationary lorry that had been stopped by the side of the street.
The couple passed on the spot while the harmed were raced to Nakuru Level 5 Hospital.
This comes scarcely two days after the Transport Licensing Appeals Board Chair Mr. John Mututho has lashed out at the National Transport and Safety Power (NTSA) for “thinking about the occupation”.
Talking in Nakuru, John Mututho censured the power for concentrating on the utilization of alco-blow and speed governors, which he says have not been of much help in checking road gore.
Salgaa is a famous dark spot and weight has been put on the government through the Kenya National Highways Board to develop a double carriageway along the stretch of road from Kibunja to Salgaa market.
