Popular media Queen Sanaipei Tande “cried like a baby” after she was sacked by Nation Media Group(NMG) without notice. The mid-morning radio presenter on Nation FM was given her redundancy letter just after her show.
Colleagues who talked to MADAM said a dejected Sanaipei walked to her desk where she covered her face with the letter and broke into tears.
Also fired were her colleagues Ciru Muriuki and Anto Neosoul, the night presenters who were equally shocked at the development, as well as radio reporters working for Nation FM and QFM. On Monday the radio station sacked three of its best presenters without giving them a notice.
Sanaipei, who previously worked with Kiss FM, said on her Twitter: “Dear loyal listeners! 2day was my last day on Nation FM as I just learned! No hard feelings! I will miss U All!,”
Sanaipei who came in the limelight in 2004 when she appeared on Kenya’s Coca Cola Popstar has a passion for music. She has performed a alongside some of the country top artistes including Jua Cali, Nameless and Bigpin.
