Senator Mike Sonko’s bodyguard shot, Killed by Armed Gang

Police are exploring an occurrence in which one of the bodyguards appended to Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko was shot dead and victimized of his firearm in an assault at Mwiki, Nairobi.
The officer was shot in the temple and passed on while experiencing treatment at the Nairobi Hospital on Saturday.
Bakari Tsuma had dropped Sonko in Gigiri territory on Friday midnight what’s more, left for his habitation in Mwiki range where he met his demise. Sonko and police said the officer was shot by three individuals who were furnished with an AK47 rifles and guns.

He said the assailants appeared specialists and were on a mission and asked for intensive examinations to get them. Sonko has pronounced enthusiasm for competing for Nairobi gubernatorial seat.
“We want to know how and why my bodyguard was killed. These seem to be professional people on a mission,” he said.
The body of the officer was flown to Kwale on Sunday for burial. The killing of the officer is the second in a week in Nairobi. Another officer was killed last week in Dandora area. Police say they are looking for the gangs that are behind the incidents.
