The body of a representative who was snatched on his way home was yesterday discovered dumped by a roadside in Tigoni.
The assortment of 39-year-old David Mbute from Lari, Kiambu Area, was found by general society in the morning as they made a beeline for work.

As indicated by Mr Mbute’s dad, George Githire, he got information on Monday evening that his child had been captured by police in Kimende range of Lari.

In any case, Limuru sub-county AP Commander James Mwaura said Mbute was snatched in Kimende, and his executioners exchanged the body overnight to Redhill in Tigoni where it was found.

Reason for death
The body had wounds on the neck and was to experience a after death examination to find out the genuine reason for his demise.
Njoroge Kamande, a retailer, said a vehicle that was utilized to steal Mbute had been stopped before his shop for around 20 minutes.

The vehicle’s driver had opened the cap, and he lit the security light for him since it was dim. A fellow shopkeeper next to mbute said that the vehicle that went with Mbute has packed in front of his shop for more than 15 minutes.

“I then heard a commotion where Mbuta was slapped, handcuffed and thrown into the boot. When I asked why they were abducting him, they cocked a gun and immediately left,” he added.
