Stephen Ogugu Biography

Popularly known for his comical, hilarious, and rib cracking episodes on the most watched TV Channel Citizen TV, Stephen Ogugu is one of a kind you ought not be unaware of.

The hilarious TV Program which goes by the name ‘Inspekta Mwala’ is the place to watch his tremendous shows.

In his educational journey, Stephen Ogugu studied at Malaba Primary School, before joining Ezra Gumbe primary School in Kisumu City in the year 1993. In 1994, he joined Mwencha Academy Private boarding school in Kitale, and finished his Primary school successfully, before joining St. Johns Nyamagwa Boys High School in Kisii County, Bobasi Constituency.

However, in his third year in secondary, he moved to a private day school in Kisumu city (Xaverian Secondary School) before completing his high school successfully with a A- that opened his ways to joining Kenyatta University for an Engineering Course in ICT (Software Engineering).
It took him long to complete his University education but finally managed to graduate in the year 2014 with a Second Upper Class Honors.
Other professional lines of interest he underwent successfully in his learning processes include
– CISCO at KCA University (CCNA 1&2),
– Certified Information Systems Auditor, CISA,
– Database Administration,
– Accounting Systems.

His Acting Career role in the media industry started in the year 2007 under program Director Tony Mwite before the Director left from Royal Media Services. In the year 2011 November, he was officially chosen to be part of Royal Media, Inspekta Mwala TV Series as an actor after undergoing amazing auditions under supervisors Sarah Atieno, Lady Marion, and other team members of the crew.

His skills in Information Communication Technology Professional line has made his stand out among numerous I.T guys in the country, hence his nick-name I.T/I.C.T “Mage” expert.
His areas of interest include routing and switching, web design, management of information systems, and system development.
