A photograph of a group authorities amid the Tuesday dispatch of the new Jubilee Party in State House has started a crisp verbal confrontation on the absence of contribution of ladies and youth in gathering authority.
The photograph commanded by male legislators was among those common on Facebook by President Uhuru Kenyatta prompting Kenyans to respond. As some doubted why ladies and youth were feeling the loss of, other’s protected the photograph expressing that it was that of gathering pioneers of the offshoot parties that will join the new Celebration Party.
Gender orientation Uniformity
The case was, in any case, not got well as commentators went ahead to include that it meant that even the member parties never grasped gender orientation equity.
One of the Kenyans George Kopiyo had his take on these and this is what he had to share, “For such an important function, like the establishment of a new political party, I do not see the involvement of women, who are the majority in our Republic. From the word go, Jubilee was not serious about empowering women. Even with this new JAP thing, it is still a club of male chauvinism save for some two powerless flower girls. We need more women in positions of leadership…Our collective apologies to the lady in red. They almost elbowed her out!”
