Communication is what matters. Individuals, organizations and different groups, are in dire need of a platform to communicate. Taste and preferences narrows down to the satisfaction one derives from the platforms, such that he/she is very comfortable not switching to other networks. Why would on prefer
Safaricom, Airtel or both networks?
For Safaricom,the extra packages that come with it lure people into it. They allow their customers to borrow airtime through ‘okoa jahazi’,they give free airtime when one uses a certain amount of airtime(Storo bonus). For every ten shilling,one is given one Bonga Point ,which after accumulating could be reedemed into airtime, bundles or free minutes.You will also note that some people prefer it because most of their friends have it. M-pesa, M-shwari are some of their features that customers using Safaricom communication network too enjoy.

On the other hand, someone else would prefer Airtel because its very affordable. A good number of individuals are into these network, because some of their features are very pocket friendly, such as Unliminet. Imagine with only 20 bob, one gets 50 data bundles plus twenty free Sms. They also have Zawadi points which upon accumulating could be redeemed. Calling though this network is very cheap. Most people are opting for this network because its cheap.
To those who use both networks, its for convenience purposes. With airtel one could google and download loads of staff from net. With Safaricom, they find it easy for transaction purposes and connecting with friends.
The choice lies in the hand of the consumer cause what matters is the satisfaction that one derives from this networks.
