While in Class 6 at St Mary’s School , Uhuru and
his classmates were beaten by Class 7 pupils
after a confrontation.
His classmates pressured him to call his father
since he was the most powerful man in Kenya
by then and report the matter for instant
But when Uhuru called his father to report that
they had been given a dog’s beating by Class 7
pupils, he was left with an egg on his face after
he told him, “you must fight your own battles.”
Uhuru just hunged up the phone and lied to his
classmates that “help was on the way” but in
real sense, his father had turned him down.
When Class 7 pupils heard that Uhuru’s father
had been informed about the confrontation and
was on his way coming, they begged for
forgiveness and from that time, no one ever
messed with Uhuru and his “boys”.
But no help came since Kenyatta was known to
be a no-nonsense man who never entertained
