Military tanks were on Tuesday spotted making a beeline for Zimbabwe’s capital a day after the military boss cautioned President Robert Mugabe over cleanse in the ruling Zanu-PF party.
According to witnesses, military vehicles were likewise blocking significant roads outside Harare city.
A Reuters witness saw two different tanks stopped alongside the main road from Harare to Chinhoyi, around 20 kilometers from the city. One, which was pointed toward the capital, had fallen off its tracks.
The troops, accepted to be from Inkomo Military camp on the edges of Harare, were intensely equipped.
